Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or using Rugby Ready in any other way, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. You must be 18 or over to hold a Rugby Ready account — it is a tool for adult coaches. Where a club gives a coach access, the club is responsible for making sure that coach meets the age and safeguarding requirements of the club and its governing body.

What Rugby Ready is

Rugby Ready provides AI-generated rugby coaching guidance, including session plans, drills and season plans, for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a qualified coach, formal coaching qualifications, or your union's age-grade regulations.

Coach responsibility

You remain solely responsible for the safety, suitability and supervision of every session you run. This includes risk assessment, checking equipment, facilities and playing conditions, ensuring activities are appropriate for the age, experience and ability of your players, and complying with your club's and union's safeguarding requirements. Always follow your governing body's age-grade regulations (e.g. the RFU in England, IRFU in Ireland, WRU in Wales, SRU in Scotland) and contact requirements for each age group.

Where Rugby Ready supports you

Rugby Ready is currently built for coaches in England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland. If you use Rugby Ready in any other country, you do so entirely at your own risk, and you remain responsible for ensuring all activities comply with your local laws and governing body requirements.

Subscriptions, renewal and payment

Rugby Ready offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. The plan you are on determines which features you can use:

• Free plan (£0): 1 session plan per week, the verified Skill Zone Library only (no custom Focus Areas), one age group (chosen during onboarding), and basic export.
• Pro plan (£5.99/month incl. VAT): unlimited session plans, custom Focus Areas plus the Skill Zone Library, Your Zones (drawing and editing your own Skill Zones), all 12 age groups (U7–U18), season plans, player and squad tracking, parent communications, and PDF export.
• Pro is a monthly subscription that renews automatically. Each month, until you cancel, the £5.99 (including VAT) is taken from the card you subscribed with. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro access until the end of the month you have already paid for — it does not refund the current month.
• Free trial: new coaches may start one 7-day Pro trial, once per account, ever. The trial needs no card, does not renew and simply lapses at the end of the seventh day — you will not be charged when it ends.
• Price changes: if we change the price of Pro, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies.
• Season rollover: the rugby season runs 1 September to 31 August. At the start of each new season your active age group automatically moves up one age grade (e.g. U7 to U8). Plans saved under a previous age group remain in your library, accessible and editable. Squad players are not moved automatically; you can move your squad using the 'Move squad up a year' action.
• Changing age group: if your active age group is wrong, you can request a change from Settings ('Request age group change'). We review and confirm requests, usually within a day.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rugby Ready accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of any session plan, drill, activity or content generated by the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions — review all plans before use.

Acceptable use

Your account is for you. Do not share your login details, let someone else use your account, or create an account on someone else's behalf. Do not use Rugby Ready to break any law, to attempt to reach another coach's or club's data, to copy or bulk-download the Skill Zone Library or our other content, or to scrape, resell or bulk-generate material with automated tools. We may suspend or close an account that does any of these things.

Changes to the service

We improve Rugby Ready continuously, so features may be added, changed or retired over time, and we may occasionally need to take the service down briefly for maintenance or updates. If we make a change that materially reduces what you get on a paid plan, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings, which deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we are legally required to close, or that is being used to harm other coaches or players. If we close your account because of a breach, we will not refund the unused part of a paid period; if we close it for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of any paid period.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version is always available on this page with its "last updated" date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you do not agree with it.

Player Data & Privacy

We handle personal data, including player data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Refunds & Cancellation

Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where you exercise your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: if you are a UK consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing and receive a full refund by contacting us via the in-app chat or Contact page. Outside that 14-day period, due to the digital nature of the Service and the immediate access provided to AI-generated session plans and features, we do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your paid billing period.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first via the in-app chat or Contact page — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. If we cannot resolve the matter informally within 30 days of you contacting us, you and Rugby Ready agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing formal legal action, and the dispute may be referred to the courts as set out in section 15. Any resolution of a dispute (including any refund or compensation) is limited to the total subscription fees you have paid to Rugby Ready. Nothing in this section takes away any right you have as a consumer to escalate a complaint to a consumer body or to bring a claim in court.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and nothing in these terms removes that right.

Copyright

The Service and all content included in it — including session and season plans, drill diagrams, the Skill Zone Library, templates, graphics, the Rugby Ready name and logo — are owned by Rugby Ready and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may use the plans and materials you generate for your own coaching purposes (including printing, sharing with your club, and distributing to parents of your players), but you may not resell, sublicense, republish or commercially exploit them, or remove any branding from exported materials.
